To request City Council approval for the acceptance of an easement for public street and highway purposes in accordance with Precise Grading Plan G-1423 (the “Project”), for a portion of the real property located at 10232 Dakota Avenue, Garden Grove, owned by Peter H. Win and Toan B. Nguyen (“Owners”). |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
On June 1, 2020, the Owners submitted grading plans for construction of a new, detached, two-story residential duplex on an R-2 zoned property located at 10232 Dakota Avenue. |
| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
The conditions of approval for the project require the owners to dedicate the right-of-way at the northeast corner of Dakota Avenue and Bowen Street for future public street improvements. |
| | | | | | | | FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no impact to the General Fund. |
| | | | | | | | RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
- Approve and accept the easement for public street and highway purposes for a portion of the property located at 10232 Dakota Avenue, Garden Grove; and
- Authorize the City Clerk to accept the Street Deed on behalf of the City.
