Receive and file an updated Amended Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS 19-20B) Report.  (Action Item)

OBJECTIVE

For the City of Garden Grove as Successor Agency to the Garden Grove Agency for Community Development (“Successor Agency”) to receive and file an update to the Amended Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule for the 19-20 B period of January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020 (“ROPS 19-20 B”) Report, by the State Department of Finance (“DOF”) for purposes of proper record keeping.

BACKGROUND

At the September 10, 2019, Successor Agency meeting, the Successor Agency adopted a Resolution approving the Amended ROPS 19-20 B, subject to review and approval by the Orange Countywide Oversight Board (Oversight Board) and the DOF.

 

On September 19, 2019, the DOF notified all Successor Agencies via email of an update made to the Amended ROPS 19-20B Report and requested that the updated report be used for submission and approval by the Oversight Board and DOF versus the previous report submitted and approved by the Successor Agency. 

DISCUSSION

The changes to the report are purely administrative changes for DOF purposes and do not affect the requested budget amendment submitted to the Orange County Oversight Board and DOF for approval.
FINANCIAL IMPACT

None.
RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Successor Agency:

 

  • Receive and file of the administrative changes made to the Amended ROPS 19-20 B Report by the State Department of Finance for proper report keeping purposes.
