Consideration of Final Parcel Map No. PM-2018-147 for the property located at 10801 Garden Grove Boulevard, Garden Grove. (Action Item)

OBJECTIVE

To receive City Council approval for Final Parcel Map No. PM-2018-147 for the property located at 10801 Garden Grove Boulevard, Garden Grove (on the easterly portion of the existing Home Depot parking lot).

BACKGROUND

On September 20, 2018, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No. 5936-18, the Applicant received approval of Site Plan No. SP-058-2018 and Tentative Parcel Map No. PM-2018-147.  A copy of Planning Resolution No. 5936-18 is attached. 

DISCUSSION

The proposed Final Parcel Map PM-2018-147 would subdivide the existing 10.7-acre Home Depot property into two (2) lots (the 10.25-acre Home Depot property and the 0.45-acre Taco Bell property).  In order to facilitate the development of the new 0.45-acre Taco Bell site at 10801 Garden Grove Boulevard, easements for a public utility, vehicle access, domestic water, and appurtenances have been dedicated.   

 

Staff has reviewed all the subdivision documentation mandated by City Ordinances, conditions of approval, and the Subdivision Map Act and finds this map to be in compliance.  The owner has complied with all conditions of tentative parcel map.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

There is no financial impact to the General Fund.
RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the City Council:

 

  • Approve Final Parcel Map No. PM-2018-147.
