To provide an update on Code Enforcement activities related to Short-Term Rentals (STRs). |
| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
At the October 8, 2019, City Council meeting, Mayor Pro Tem Klopfenstein requested an update on Code Enforcement activities on STRs, and potential outsourcing for enforcement. |
| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
The City contracts with Host Compliance software to address the ongoing impact STRs have on the city's residential neighborhoods with positive outcomes and significant enforcement success. The software assists Code Enforcement staff with compliance monitoring, enforcement, and complaint processes.

It is recommended that the City Council:
- Receive and file this report for information.
