DISCUSSION

Per the request and motion of Mayor Pro Tem Beard, the City Council approved an agenda item for discussion of Municipal Code provisions and enforcement related to property maintenance, particularly pertaining to commercial properties.

 

For your review and discussion, attached are three sections of the Municipal Code pertaining to property maintenance:

 

  • Section 9.32.180 lists property and buildings conditions that constitute public nuisances.

 

  • Section 9.32.200 lists minimum property maintenance standards.

 

  • Section 9.32.210 lists minimum property maintenance standards for vacant, unoccupied or abandoned buildings.
